It has been a while since I posted, frankly I have been a little busy.
I want to give a special thanks to all of you during the last several weeks for your condolences relating to the passing of my father. Your cards, notes, calls, and expressions of sympathy have been greatly appreciated by me and my family.
I also want to say thanks to all of the residents of Danbury for their patience during the most recent snowstorm and the aftermath. The clean up is progressing, we are almost 70% through the process, and we should be done in about another 10 days. We will have a rather large pile of processed mulch that we are trying to get rid of..
Then there was the election. Thanks for your support, we have a lot of work to do, and I have been meeting with city staff all week as we try to get our arms around the priorities for the next two years. I will be announcing those priorities at the State of The City speech on December 16th.
We a had a great swearing in ceremony last night. I am proud to be serving with such wonderful volunteers..
